Little Berry Gatherer

My little fae is sitting on half a Walnut shell, ringing her bell to share the fruits she gathered.
I like her cheeky little face, she seems so unafraid of us humans taking a peek at her.
I used crochet cotton to make her little romper suit and hat.
The berries were a bit laborious, and I did intend to make more ! but got fed up of all those little balls of clay and needed to move on to my next sculpt.
Who knows maybe I will get around to making some more one day haha!

Golden Fae

Meet my latest sculpt Golden Fae,
I have entered her for an award at the DMA
With a big heap of luck she my just catch the judges eye haha!

For Mother

This Doll is called " For Mother "
She is yet again polymer clay on a wire armature. Mixed media dressing.
She carries a bunch of flowers behind her back for her Mothers special gift.
Bless her she made a teapot of tea too but those pesky Mice arrived on the scene.
I know I have some tiny decals to decorate the teapot somewhere amongst my craft stash. Alas they are evading for now.
I did crochet her a coat to match her hat, but decided against it, what do you think ?
Hmmmmm !

Maleficent

Meet my new doll Maleficent.
I have been wanting to try to make her for a while, and thought  "just go for it. "
She has taken me weeks to complete, amongst looking after Grandchildren and school half term, I found very little time to work on her.
They grey days we have had haven't helped and I spent many an hour under the craft lamp to see what I was doing.
You still always find a way when you just must sculpt haha !

Georgia & The Dragon

My latest sculpt is  Georgia and her Dragon,
A very English Legend of George and the Dragon remake haha!
I really enjoyed making her Dragon. She started out with a Wolf. Then I changed my mind and made her a Dragon, more mythical I think.

I am working on two dolls today. A child Fae and my take on Maleficent from sleeping Beauty, so more to show soon.

Tiny Fairy Folk

These two little Fairies I made a couple of weeks ago. I made them Doll house size as they seem to be very popular. They are poseable, so can sit and move their arms.

Dont know if anyone has noticed, the Pink Fae is a little Borrower, Her little tiara is made from the eyes from a box of hook & eyes, little tyke haha!
I never know what will go missing next !

Sweet Fairy Child of Mine.

It has been a while since I have had time to do a blog post, Christmas has been hectic. 12 of us around 2 tables pushed together for Christmas Lunch. But so worth the effort to have us all together, lovely !

  Over the break I found little time to sculpt, However, I did manage this little Fae,  I hope you like her friends.
