Halloween Witch.

To celebrate the end of my Chemo sessions on 14th Oct, I am giving away this sculpt to a random person to comment on this post. Not really sure if anyone would want my little Witch LOL. But if you do like her, Just make a comment on this post and you may be lucky and win her. You may be the only one to read this and win her anyway. haha!!
I will draw a winner15th Oct. She will be with you in plenty time for Halloween.
GOOD LUCK. xxx

Of course I would love to win your gorgeous witch.
But the reason why you do this give away is much more important then the prize.
Congrats with the ending of your chemo.
I know what chemo can do to and with you so I'm happy for you it's (almost)over.

I hope i made it in time. by the way

Your work has been selected for exhibition in the first annual Salt Lake City Halloween Art Show. SLCHAE 2009 will be on display at the Utah Arts Alliance Gallery, located at 127 South Main Street, from October 6 -31.

Email me to get the submission form. If you have entered multiple pieces, you will need to fill out a form for each piece. Please also include a bio and description of your artistic process. This information will be used to promote SLCHAE 2009.

Art on display will be available for purchase, unless you as the artist request otherwise. The Utah Arts Alliance Gallery will retain 40% of the sale price per piece, so price your work accordingly.

Instructions for shipping your art are included below. SLCHAE must receive your art NO LATER THAN October 3 to be included in the show!

SLCHAE is a joint effort of the Utah Arts Alliance and the Underground Artist Association. These not-for-profit organizations have been working together to produce art exhibits and avant-garde performances since 2004.

Shipping Instructions

Mail Art to:

SLCHAE
Brad Ford
1991 South 800 East
SLC,UT 84105

FedEx Express:
Call FedEx to schedule a pickup from your home1-800-463-3339. Please call early to have any questions answered and to make sure art will arrive at SLCHAE HQ NO LATER THAN Oct 3rd, 2009. You can pick up 2 air bills (labels) from any FedEx drop-off, Mail Boxes Etc, or other location that ships via FedEx. Fill out one air bill for shipping your art to us, and then fill out the other for return shipping. You keep the very top copy or make note of the tracking number on it. You can include your credit card number or your FedEx account number to cover the cost of return shipping. Place this second air bill inside your package where we will easily find it. (Attach to back of art, if possible.)

FedEx Ground:
Ground: You must call ASAP if you choose to use this option. Call 1-800-231-9219 to “set up new account.” Be sure and request immediate activation for ground delivery. It may take 1-2 full days for this to get into their system. You will have to drop off your package for ground delivery as they won’t pick up from a residence (unlike Express.) Once you have an active account, you can go online to www.fedex.com, sign up for a username and password and print out shipping labels for delivery and return. I suggest you call their tech support at 1-800-257-0109 and have them walk you through this process. As far as I could tell from a very long conversation with the customer advocate group at FedEx, the only way to get your return-shipping label is to print it from online, and to do this you must have an account.

FedEx Express is more expensive, but far easier to use and does pick up from a residence. FedEx ground is cheaper but a lot more hassle. Please call FedEx right away to determine which is best for you and to have all your questions answered.

She reminds me of my dearly departed Aunt Rita who became a minor celebrity in 1945 when she flashed a Harry Truman Presidential Cavalcade. LOOK magazine didn't hesitate to destroy all photos of the event, especially since Aunt Rita was a woman of ample girth who performed the disrespectful act only as a reaction to a cicada having fallen into her blouse.

I'd love to win Rita.
